Hello, Welcome to My Portfolio!

Hi, my name is Grace Nwaege, and I am a Fall 2025 honors graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. My passion resides in pharmaceutical operations, and with the completion of my degree, my eyes have been opened to being the voice of the people. My goal is to promote health literacy with every patient interaction, ensuring health information is easy to find, understand, and utilize. I will be the change to standard medical practices that reemphasizes the connection of public health to day-to-day healthcare practices.

My Cumulative Experience:
The Maverick Pantry

For my cumulative experience I completed Option A which included an on-site interview, 75 hour time sheet, and 1 stakeholder interview. For my internship, I was an intern for the Maverick Pantry and their mission is to provide fair and just access to food and essential items, tailored to meet the diverse needs of our fellow mavericks. The pantry bridges the gap for food insecurity among college students and is free to all students, staff, and faculty.

CE ACTION PLAN

This was my action plan during the start of the semester before I had started at the pantry. Of course thing change and new opportunities arise, so a few of the plans I had changed.

LITERATURE REVIEW

I completed a thorough literature review diving deeper into the patterns and correlations between food insecurity and college students, in addition to what explaining the effects of a food dessert and food swamp.

Although small, the pantry is connected to many assets which I have displaced in a community asset map.

As the last piece to my cumulative experience I conducted a stakeholder interview with the Maverick Pantry Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator to dive deeper into the nitty-gritty of the pantry's operations and impact

WHITE PAPER

Finally, I created a white paper to present to community partners, in the event we would be seeking partnership. This format allowed for an easy break down of the pantry's goal, impact, and the community served to present to the general public as well.
